5 Lessons for beginner photographers
1. You have to be consistent. This means effort. This means determination. You ought to have these two. You ought to make sure to create regularly in order to become (successful) at what you do.
2. Be frugal. I have made ¢5,000.00 cedis in 2 days. To some it’s a lot, and to others it isn’t. I wasted that money on gear I did not need and I lost the gear. I learned my lesson because I could use that money for other things. It’s not how much you make, but how much you keep.
3. Practice minimalism. It’s hard to be frugal when you want. — the latest camera/lens/phone — expensive weekend spending. Desire less and you’ll be able to keep more. You don’t have to satisfy all your desires now. I’m not depriving you, I’m helping you telling you this.
4. There’s no failure until you quit. Keep creating. Failing is another opportunity to start again, but with better experience. If you’re broke you’ll keep creating.
5. Patience. This is not talked about enough. Every successful person at their craft had to invest lots of time into what they did. You’re no different. Create your best whenever you pick the camera and be patient with the process.
