Never forget these!

Think Decades Not Days or Months

To achieve anything good, it takes time, no matter how advanced technology has become, to be successful at anything takes time. Patience makes prominent artists. To achieve wealth or anything substantial, you need a long-term plan — 5, 10, 20 years from now. The longer your horizon, the better your decisions will be.

Think Tomorrow, Focus on Today!

Have a plan, but don’t overly focus on that. Focus on today. Tomorrow is a luxury you cannot afford. You have today and today alone. Today is a present, it is a gift to you reading this now. Show up. Showing up is 90% of getting the work done. Act daily. Act until it compounds. Until it gets exponential. I showed up publishing daily on Medium and I was able to grow my account. Before, I rarely showed up and I’ve had this account for years. I have started a YouTube channel and I’m being consistent there too. Do check it out and subscribe.

Focus More on Habits. Don’t Overly Glorify The Goal

Success is hard work. There aren’t any 3 steps to make a million. Maybe there is, but it isn’t what you think. The 3 steps to making a million could take you 3 decades. Focus on daily habits. The keyword here is DAILY. If you want to grow, you’ve got to show up daily. There are no teachers to force you to show up, it’s you alone. Let’s see how bad you want it.

Focus on The Process. The Results Will Work Itself Out

This one is quite interesting. I’ve always been thinking about results that it keeps me down. Instead of thinking about the process; to make good and valuable work for my readers on Medium and listeners and watchers on Podcast and YouTube respectively, I focus on results only. In the past few months that has changed. I focus on the value I’m going to bring to you and everyone who watches, reads and or listens to me. Focusing on the results and not the process will want to make you want to use the shortcut, and you know shortcuts are a scam!

Choose Action Over Over-planning

It’s good that you read stuff and learn and plan, but none of these will make you successful, maybe, unless you're a teacher in some school. We know most schools are only theory focused, probably why you’re not being successful. You have been taught to learn, but not to produce. Production is what births a master.
