My Normal Routine

If I’m not shooting (I rarely take photos lately), I’m writing, or reading or watching a movie. That’s just it. Do you get it? If you did, then I can stop writing right now.

Okay, so when I’m up from bed, the first thing I do is to pray. Why? Because I’m a Christian and I’m trying to take my prayer life seriously. I thank God for life and everything He has gifted me and ask for strength to carry on throughout the day. Knowing you have someone you can be grateful to daily is a hack. It works.

Next thing I do is not read. I check my phone. I check Medium to see if I got left any comments. I check my mail to read the daily devotional and then jump off the bed and turn on the PC. Doesn’t seem like it’s productive.

Then, the next thing I do is listen to a sermon by any Calvinist preacher on YouTube. I love to listen to Paul Washer, but lately I listen to Dr. MacArthur. Right now, I’m listening to his old series in the book of Romans. I’m loving it as he is teaching on the topic of sanctification. Before anything, before I’m a photographer, podcaster, YouTuber, etc, I’m a christian first.

I work out after that. My uncle is a gym instructor so… You get the point. No, I’m not ripped. He is, though.

I take my bath. I take my bath quite early. My routine is not a step-by-step thing. But one thing is constant, I take cold showers by 5:00AM GMT. Uh-uh. Yes, it’s cold but I’m getting used to it.

I read and read and read and read. I don’t do much in a day. Right now, I’m working on a book called the church and anxiety. When I’m done, I’m going to publish that on Amazon. After that, I’m going to be working on a new book for photographers, and this time I’ll be focusing on money and marketing. If you want to check out my books on Amazon, tap on this link.

So, that’s just that. And oh, I record podcast episodes on Fridays and publish on Saturdays. If you haven’t checked my podcast for photographers and young Christians, do tap on the links to have access.

Peace.

How does your day look like?
